DRESS CODE
DANCERS ARE EXPECTED TO LOOK LIKE DANCERS!!!

Presentation should be neat and clean when entering the studio. No visible tattoo markings, ink markings on hands or body, no piercings, jewelry or street shoes. Hair MUST be pulled back and away from face at all times, in all classes! If a student is not in proper uniform they will not be permitted to take class!

Creative Movement and Intro to dance Ages 6 and UNDER
  • Leotard and tights are always expected but may be the color of your choice.
  • Ballet skirts and tutus are also permitted at this age.
  • WHITE ballet slippers.
  • WHITE tap shoes tie or buckled.
  • Ribbons on taps are asked to be replaced with elastic or buttons.


  • Students ages 7 and UP:
    Ballet:
  • Black leotard and ballet pink tights. Ballet skirts may be worn as well. NO PANTS OR BAGGY CLOTHING PERMITTED!!
  • Pink, split sole ballet slippers.
  • Pointe shoes, must be OK’d by Maria prior to purchase.


  • Jazz:
  • Black, pink or light suntan tights. Any black leotard, black sports bra type top or black tank and black dance pants or shorts are permitted but not required. No colored tops or leotards, black only.
  • Tan "BLOCH" jazz shoe no ties.

    Lyrical/Contemporary:
  • Same apparel as Jazz, and "ADAGE" Half sole lyrical shoe tan.


  • Hip Hop:
  • Same apparel as Jazz. Sweats or looser fitted dance pants may be added.
  • Black split sole Jazz Sneaker.


  • Tap:
  • Apparel same as Hip Hop.
  • Ages 7,8 and 9 -"BLOCH" blocked heel tan, buckled tap shoe.
  • Ages 10 and Up -"BLOCH" Tan, tie Oxford - split sole.


  •  

    ACRO/STRETCH CLASS:
  • Apparel same as JAZZ, no shoes!


  • BOYS- NOW strictly enforced! 
      Any lose fitted dancewear or sweats in BLACK.
    Hip Hop:
  • Black Dance sneaker
    Jazz:
  • Boys Tie jazz shoe in BLACK
    Tap:
  • Boys BLACK tie tap shoe



  • STUDENTS ARE ALSO PERMITTED TO WEAR
    ANY CLASS ACT APPAREL WITH OUR LOGO!
    THIS IS THE ONLY EXCEPTION TO THE ALL BLACK RULE!!!
